Who is FCB?

In 2004, the Frisco Community Band was formed as a not-for-profit, all volunteer organization benefiting the City of Frisco and its neighboring communities.

The Band provides Frisco, and the surrounding area musicians, with the opportunity to expand or continue their experience in the performing arts with the ultimate purpose of making live, symphonic and ensemble music accessible to all segments of the community.

The FCB exists with the support of the Frisco Association of the Arts and is funded through grants, donations and member dues. All area musicians with at least a High School music background are welcome.

Performances are free to the public.

Mission Statement:

The Frisco Community Band is a volunteer-based symphonic ensemble committed to fostering cultural enrichment and artistic excellence within the Frisco community and surrounding areas. Comprising 40 to 60 dedicated musicians, the organization provides inclusive opportunities for musical engagement, lifelong learning, and public performance. Through strategic partnerships, educational outreach, and accessible programming, the band seeks to elevate the role of live symphonic music as a catalyst for community connection, civic pride, and intergenerational engagement.
