Big Thanks for Coming to the Black Box Theater Performance

Last night the Frisco Community Band had our performance at the Black Box Theater in Frisco.  For those not familiar with this venue it is a small room with about 3-4 rows of chairs on three sides.  To help with this venue we preformed in a circle with the director in the middle.  It was amazing and tons of fun for us and the audience.  It is a intimate experience when you can SEE the music the musicians are performing!

Between each of the bands playing and and all the audience we probably had at least 150 people in there.  It was a ton of fun with standing room only.

I chatted with a few folks afterward and they all really enjoyed the concert.  The Wakeland High School jazz band did a fantastic job as well.  We’ll have videos of the performance up soon.  Until then, here are a few pics taken by Tammy Meinershagen.

If you are looking to join us, now is a good time as we will be starting new music at our rehearsal next week.  Come on out.  Tuesday night, 7pm at the Frisco High School Band room (park in back and follow the stream of people with instruments. 🙂 )
